Located on the western highlands of Pennsylvania, the property posed numerous horticultural challenges due to the exposure from the severe winter winds emanating from Ohio. The scope of the work involved the realignment of the driveway with the creation to a new formal entrance into the house, a major regrading a hill to create a long vista, major tree planting for shadows to create a dramatic sense of depth, installation of extensive rhododendron beds, restoration of two ponds, and enhancements to the perennial gardens.
