Our People

Meet our team of talented professionals.

Our Approach

Defining the Place

We strive to understand the stories that define the unique character of a place by understanding what it was and what it is. Then we seek methods to define these cultural assets to give the place a new and lasting vibrancy.

Developing Healthy Landscapes

Where we spend our lives has a profound impact upon our physical, mental, social, environmental, and economic well-being. Based upon “evidence-based design standards” we seek solutions to the built environment that are based upon credible research to achieve the best possible outcomes that promote well-being.

Developing Sustainable Environments

Based upon ecological and conservation principals, we assess the existing intrinsic natural systems of a site: geology, soils, vegetation, horticulture, hydrologic features, wild life, and micro-climate to develop balanced and sustainable land form solutions that are holistic and interactive with the built environment.

Minimizing Our Impact

Our goal is to create landscapes that minimize the impact upon the environment by incorporating the assets that already exist, seeking low-energy solutions, using recycled material, encouraging walkability and bicycle-friendly communities and maximizing the use of natural systems and locally grown native plant material.
