Carter van Dyke Associates, Inc. was retained by EwingCole to design the landscape for the 72-acre residential community. The Abramson Center is committed to Jewish traditions and values and to honoring the elders. The building design created a series of seven interior courtyards that were accessible, as well as providing views from the surrounding rooms. The central entry space was accessible to three different gardens. One at the eastern entrance of the building, a south-facing garden terrace with tables and umbrellas, and a western garden with perennials and flowering trees. A primary focus of the garden designs was to create a variety of spaces to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
