Our firm was requested to enhance an approved plan for a wedding venue that is proposed on a 26-acre property located along Horseshoe Pike in Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pa. The site includes an 11,000 sq. ft. banquet building, 2,000 sq. ft. conservatory, and an outdoor wedding venue overlooking a new pond. During the process, CVDA made recommendations to modify the site approved plan in order to enhance the user experience that included: A new ADA walkway to both the front entrance and the outdoor venue, creation of an outdoor venue that overlooked a pond with a water fall feature, creating walking paths and garden rooms with seasonal interest for photo opportunities, developing new grades to enhance the views from the main venue while screening adjacent roads, and fine tuning screening of adjacent roads and land uses.
